The countdown to the holiday season has started, and even if you’re not ready to think about it, we are! The team at Coastal Christmas Décor is ready for some holiday cheer, and all signs are pointing to 2020 being a big year for celebrating the holidays. We’re already hearing from our customers, and recurring theme is “we’re all ready to celebrate something good.” So whether you’ve been working from home, or just want to show your holiday spirit this year, let’s get started!
Here are a few of the trends we anticipate for the coming holiday season, for homes and businesses:
Let’s face it, holiday decorations make people feel good, whether they are customers in your business or neighbors passing by. Not to mention family members enjoying a home that shows holiday cheer. The trend this year will be more homes and businesses decorating for the season, and starting even earlier.
When times are stressful, people take comfort in the familiar. For many, that means holiday decorations that remind them of their youth, or empty nesters who enjoy the memories of a house full of young children. The leading trends we see so far are for more traditional decorations, including wreaths on windows and doors, spotlights to accent specific areas and greater use of white lights.
One trend that is gaining a bit more ground is going over-the-top. We see this with home and business owners who want to push the limits and really get attention for their holiday decorating. Whether it’s to highlight their home for an annual party, or a business that wants to make a splash and separate themselves from the competition, this trend is definitely in the “more is better” camp – more lights, more decorations, more movement – more everything!
Regardless of which trend appeals to you – or even if none of them to – rest assured the Coastal Christmas Décor team is excited to help bring your dreams to life, and to light! This year take the worry and hassle out of holiday decorations, and leave the hard work to us!
